Censinet Appoints Healthcare Cybersecurity Veteran and Industry Advocate Chris Logan as Chief Security Officer
Former VMware Global Technology Executive and Veteran Healthcare CISO to Expand Cybersecurity Innovations and Accelerate Adoption of Censinet RiskOps in Healthcare
Boston, MA – September 15, 2021 – Censinet, the leading provider of healthcare IT risk solutions, today announced that Chris Logan, former Global Healthcare Executive at VMware, has joined the Company as Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer. Logan will drive further expansion of Cybersecurity innovations on Censinet RiskOps while working with the Company’s customers, partners, and industry standards groups to transform cybersecurity and risk management in the healthcare industry.

Logan is an active board member for The Association for Executives in Healthcare Information Security (AEHIS), serving on the Healthcare Security Leaders Planning Committee. Before VMware, he served as Chief Information Security (CISO) officer at Care New England, where he developed and managed teams and processes for information security, privacy, compliance, continuity planning, standards adoption and implementation, vendor management, and IT leadership.
Logan has been in the IT community for 25 years. His primary focus has been delivering technology leadership in both an operational and strategic capacity, spanning public and private sector organizations. He has also worked in security and technology leadership roles at Lifespan Corporation, Century Bank, and MIT. He also served in the United States Marine Corps. Logan was also a professor at Providence College in their graduate school of business, where he provided instruction to graduate students on the management of information technology and operations management. He holds multiple industry certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, and has an MBA from Bryant University.
